The rooftop Onsen with great views is fantastic.

I was very disappointed with the parking situation. Upon arrival, we received inadequate information regarding the parking fees, which led to a surprisingly high charge because we didn't get the necessary stamp from the front desk. Additionally, the lack of a comfortable work area in the room was frustrating since I needed more space to use my laptop.

the hotel is right at the train station, making it super easy to get around. It’s just a short 10-minute walk to the beautiful Wakayama City Museum where you can dive into local history, and you can also enjoy a scenic stroll along the Ichihorigawa Promenade that's only about 700 meters away, providing a lovely park-like atmosphere amidst the city.

candeo hotels had a clean and spacious queen room at a great price. the staff was super friendly and helped us a lot, especially with our lost glasses. we loved that the hotel is right at the station with a supermarket and restaurants just downstairs.

The spa experience was wonderful! The staff were warm and accommodating, especially for English speakers. I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff when I was unsure about using the wrap-around towels in the outdoor onsen. Additionally, the cleanliness and maintenance of the onsen and sauna were impressive, making me feel relaxed during my stay.

Perfect for Solo Travelers

The onsen on the top floor is really good. I spent late nights there just unwinding and enjoying the views of the city. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with whatever I needed. The convenience of being right above the rail station made exploration easy, no hassle with transportation, which I appreciated a lot.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable for what I got.
